Adam Scott Boatman

August 5, 2004 — October 10, 2025

McEwen, Tennessee

Mr. Adam Scott Boatman, age 21

Of McEwen, TN passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 10, 2025. He and his twin, Ben, were born on August 5, 2004, in Dickson, TN to the late Buddy Boatman and Belinda Eddings Boatman. Adam was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend whose light touched everyone who knew him.

Adam was a graduate of McEwen High School Class of 2022. While in elementary school, he was a part of the choir and later the drama club and FFA in high school.

A proud member of Lighthouse Ministries, Adam lived with a heart full of faith, laughter, and love. He was passionate about football, cheering on the TN Titans and the TN Vols every chance he got.

Adam’s love of history often sparked deep conversations and endless curiosity about the world, though nothing brought him more joy than simply spending time with those he cared about most.

Adam shared a special bond with his twin brother, Ben. The two were inseparable, whether they were watching movies and TV shows late into the night, playing video games, or most memorably, arguing just for the fun of it. Their playful debates were memorable, a true reflection of their deep connection.

He also loved hanging out with the boys, being surrounded by family at gatherings, and finding joy in the little moments of everyday life. He was known for his strong work ethic, though he was “almost always” running late, he never failed to bring his best attitude and smile once he arrived.

Adam’s laughter, kindness, and genuine spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, coworkers, and everyone blessed to share life’s moments with him.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until service time Saturday, October 25th at Lighthouse Ministries in McEwen.

Memorial Services for Adam will be conducted at 4:00pm Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Lighthouse Ministries with Bro. Bobby Eddings, Bro. Tim Farris, Bro. Kent Curtis, and Ben Boatman officiating.

Private Interment of cremains will be held at a later date in Meadowlawn Cemetery in McEwen.
