Mrs. Carolyn Sue Burns Wilson, age 88, of McEwen, TN, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026, with her family by her side, at the Humphreys County Care and Rehab Center in Waverly, TN. Carolyn was born October 12, 1937, in Waverly, TN, to the late Lonnie David Burns and Georgia Mae Beeles Burns. She was retired from Osh Kosh B’Gosh in McEwen, TN. Carolyn was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in McEwen and a devout Catholic. She loved cooking for her family and anyone else who might stop in and loved gathering with her family to play cards and spend time together. Carolyn’s grandchild and great grandchildren were precious to her and she loved them dearly.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Humphreys County Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass for Carolyn Wilson will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2026, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in McEwen, TN.
Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in McEwen, TN.
