Charles Frank Plant, lovingly known to many as "Frankie," passed away on August 9, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and simple joys. Born on March 28, 1954, to Frank Edward “Joe” Plant and Lillian Irene Sharp Plant, Frankie was one of fifteen children, growing up alongside ten brothers and four sisters. Family was at the center of his life, and he cherished each of his siblings deeply. The bonds he shared with them were a source of pride, laughter, comfort, and countless treasured memories.
Frankie's love extended far beyond his brothers and sisters. He held a special place in his heart for his many nieces and nephews, who adored him in return. Whether sharing stories, offering encouragement, making them laugh, or simply spending time together, Uncle Frankie made each of them feel loved and appreciated. The affection between Frankie and his extended family and friends was one of life's greatest blessings, and those connections will continue to live on through the memories they share.
A man who appreciated life's simple pleasures, Frankie found great joy sitting on his patio, watching the “his” birds that visited each day. He also loved watching his recently acquired chickens wander through the yard and looked forward to collecting their daily gifts: one blue egg and one brown egg. These small moments brought him immense happiness and reflected his appreciation for the beauty found in everyday life.
Frankie will be remembered for his unwavering love of family, his kind heart, his gentle spirit, and his ability to find joy in simple things. His life was rich in relationships, laughter, and the love he freely gave to those around him.
He leaves behind his beloved brothers, Gene, Larry (Donna), Gary, Bobby, Ward, Tony (Nancy), and adoring sisters Margaret Graham, Sandra (Cookie) Cox, and Anna Shearin, along with his many nieces and nephews, and countless family members and friends who were touched by his kindness and warmth. He is preceded in death by his brothers Jodi, Phil, Hilton, Wayne, and sister Rachel Ring.
While his presence will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May the memory of Charles Frank Plant be a blessing and a source of comfort to all who loved him.
