Hilton Lee Plant

Mr. Hilton Lee Plant, age 89, of New Johnsonville, TN, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Humphreys County Health & Rehab Center, in Waverly, TN. Mr. Plant was born January 8, 1937, in Denver, TN, to Frank Edward “Joe” Plant and Lillian Irene Sharp Plant. He was married to Janie Lou Todd Plant. He was a member of New Johnsonville church of Christ. He was a retired Meat Manager for Sunflower in Camden, TN. He loved to go fishing and enjoyed being outside. Hilton loved gardening and especially mowing his yard. He enjoyed barbecuing and cooking out with family and friends. He was a Pilot and loved flying his twin-engine airplane over Janie’s workplace and seeing her waiting to wave at him. Hilton was one of fifteen children and family meant everything to him. He loved to joke around and all the ladies at the Humphreys County Health & Rehab Center sure will miss him!

Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until service time, at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Hilton Plant will be Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel. Bro Joe Rhodes will be officiating the service.

Interment will follow in the Box Cemetery in New Johnsonville, TN.
