Mr. Hugh “Boggie” Gwin, age 58

Of Waverly, TN passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on August 30, 1968, in Waverly, TN to Stack and Sally Gwin.

Boggie earned his associate’s degree in Processing and Control from Nashville State Community College in Waverly, Tennessee. He proudly worked as a truck driver for 16 years, a career that reflected his dedication and strong work ethic. In his spare time, Boggie enjoyed his passion for classic cars and appreciated the beauty and character of these timeless automobiles.

Mr. Gwin’s wishes were to be cremated.

Visitation will be held from 3:30pm until service time Friday, September 4th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Memorial Services for Mr. Gwin will be conducted at 4:30pm Friday, September 4, 2026, from the Chapel of Humphreys County Funeral Home with Bro. William Brown and Mark Ratcliff officiating.
