Age: 78  Of: McEwen, TN   Died: Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. James Watkins was truly a unique one. His nickname was Friday because he never went to school on a Friday. Mr. Watkins attended Lighthouse Ministries and visited numerous other churches and nursing homes, where he would sing for the residents. He was an Army National Guard Veteran. Mr. Watkins was well known for helping other people and the love he had for his family and friends.   Visitation: will be held from 3 – 8pm Wednesday, April 1st, 1 – 8pm Thursday, April 2nd and from 10am until service time Friday, April 3rd at the Humphreys County Funeral Home.   Funeral Services: for Mr. Watkins will be conducted at 2pm Friday, April 3rd in the Humphreys County Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Bobby Eddings and Bro. William Brown officiating.
