He was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing with friends and was so proud of his hole-in-one achievement! He was dedicated to Humphreys County and served as a County Commissioner, was on the County Planning Committee, and was Treasurer for the WEEMS Foundation for the Community College. Jim was also a member of the Waverly United Methodist Church.
A dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Jim’s legacy endures through the countless lives he touched with his kindness and steady presence. He shared 49 cherished years with his beloved wife, Sue, building a home filled with laughter, shared stories, and unbreakable companionship.
