Mrs. Jeanette Luten Mays, age 70

Of Waverly, TN passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Nashville Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville, TN. She was born on October 9, 1955, in Waverly, TN to Carey and Sarah Luten.

Jeanette was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where she worshiped, served, and fellowshipped with her church family. She joyfully used her God-given gift of song as a member of the choir, lifting her voice in praise and worship.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time Saturday, September 5th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mays will be conducted at 1:00pm Saturday, September 5, 2026, from the Chapel of Humphreys County Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Bell officiating.

Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
