Mr. Joel Dennis Crafton, age 50, of Waverly, TN,` passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. He was born on November 6, 1975, in Huntington, TN, to Ronald Dennis Crafton and Sarah Evonne White Allen.

Joel had a passion for building, playing an instrumental role in the construction of the Third Day Tabernacle in Waverly. His commitment to this project was a testament to his generosity and hands-on spirit, leaving a lasting legacy within the community.

Beyond his talents in building, Joel had a deep appreciation for the natural world and outdoor pursuits. He enjoyed horseback riding and riding four-wheelers, which showcased his adventurous spirit. Hunting and fishing was another of his outdoor hobbies that brought him peace.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am until service time on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Crafton will be conducted at 2:00pm Sunday, April 12, 2026, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Caudle officiating.

Interment will follow in Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN.
