Mrs. Ruth Ann Tirey Wood, age 90

Of Nashville, TN, formerly of Waverly, TN, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at NHC Place at the Trace in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Wood was born to Floyd Tirey and Bille Campbell Tirey on February 25, 1936, in Russellville, AL. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Waverly. Mrs. Wood was a retired Payroll Clerk for the Humphreys County Board of Education in Waverly, TN.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 2-3 p.m., at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Private Graveside Service and Interment will be held following the visitation.
