Mr. Timothy Lee “Tim” Patrick, age 65

Of Waverly, TN passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, at his home. He was born on October 20, 1960, in Waverly, TN.

Tim had an unwavering love for his wife. He was a doting Poppy and a loyal, steadfast friend to those he loved and cared for. As a devoted member of the Elks Lodge #2289 for 31 years, he treasured the many conversations, laughs, and friendships formed there. He especially enjoyed helping with events, particularly benefits, always ready to lend a hand wherever needed.

Tim also dedicated countless hours each year to St. Patrick’s, working the pits during the annual celebration and generously giving his time to many other efforts throughout the year. Earlier this year, St. Patrick’s honored Tim at the annual Legacy Dinner in recognition of his dedication and service.

He was a man of many roles to many people - a coach, mentor, farmer, and mechanic. Known for his impressive collection of bandanas, Tim embraced life with personality and charm. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, and watching sports with his “Garage Crew.”

Tim loved the beach and could often be found with sand between his toes and a Bushwacker in his hand. In the evenings, he and Willie would become fast friends, sharing quiet moments and good company.

He had a zest for life and a personality larger than life itself. Some days he was a man of many words; other times none were needed. Tim was always among the first to step forward and volunteer, helping in any way he could.

He had a method to his madness - whether it meant carrying five keys on five different key rings just to go hunting. He firmly believed that family was not defined by blood, but by those you chose. And if you were chosen, there was nothing he wouldn’t do for you.

His devotion, love, and respect were gifts he gave freely to those fortunate enough to be part of his life. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
