Wanda Gayle Cleveland

Mrs. Wanda Gayle Thorne Cleveland, age 78, of Waverly, TN, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Waverly Hills Post Acute in Waverly. Mrs. Cleveland was born June 17, 1947, in Nashville, TN, to Dewey and Loney Baker Thorne. She was a retired Housekeeper/Dietary Aide from Waverly Hills Post Acute in Waverly. She loved cooking and gardening. Wanda was always helping others. She was a loving mother to her two precious daughters, Regina and Juanita, who preceded her in death. She especially loved her grandkids and great grandkids. Her favorite television shows were Dr. Phil and The Maury Povich Show!

The family’s wishes were for cremation.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time Tuesday, May 26th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Memorial Services for Ms. Cleveland will be conducted at 1:00pm Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from the Chapel of Humphreys County Funeral Home.
