Mr. Wesley Arzell Parrish, Jr., age 83

Of McEwen, TN passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at his home. He was born January 20, 1942, in Nashville, TN to Wesley Sr. and Helen Parrish.

Wesley was a retired Ironworker from Local #492, where he dedicated many years of his life to his craft, building connections and structures that would endure long after he moved on to the next phase of life. He was not only committed to his profession but also devoted to his faith as a member of the McEwen Church of Christ.

Growing up, Wesley was known for his warm personality and his ability to connect with others. He truly never met a stranger, embodying a spirit of friendship and openness that touched the lives of many. His generous nature and comforting presence made him a cherished friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Wesley leaves behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held 4:30 – 8:00pm Sunday, September 14th and from 11:00am until service time Monday, September 15th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for Mr. Parrish will be conducted at 1:00pm Monday, September 15, 2025, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jim Suddeath and Bro. John Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery in McEwen.
